SHOPPERS: HOW IT WORKS

Vendo is a marketplace that houses vendors from all over Africa. Each of these vendors will charge their own determined/required amount for shipping.

No one likes surprises – We encourage our vendors to add a notice of shipping cost to their products, and we will clearly show it to you in your cart.

This is completely up to the individual Vendor and depends on the specific product. Some products can be shipped the same day, while others are made-to-order.

This info should be available on the product page. But we encourage open communication. Feel free to talk to the Vendors.

When you place an order and pay for it, the order is received and forwarded directly to the Vendor. Our team makes sure that they confirm that they have received the order. We keep their money for a little while to make sure there is no funny-business.

From here you deal with the Vendor directly.

Although we do not directly take responsibility for the fulfilment of your order, we are dedicated to creating a safe and trusted environment. We will follow up on the order on both sides and would love to hear from you if there are any issues.

Yes – Upon confirmation you will receive an invoice from us directly.

Payments are secured by Yoco, a highly trusted and eshtablished payment solution in South Africa.

As for Vendors:

We are dedicated to creating a safe and trusted shopping environment where shoppers can buy from vendors from all over the continent. We will not tolerate any fake or toxic vendors!

We monitor orders, interactions and customer satisfaction very closely –  if a vendor is misbehaving or breaking the terms and conditions, they will be removed and banned very quickly.

You can log a return request on Vendoshop that will go directly to the Vendor. We will investigate all return request from our side and make sure that the vendors treat our shoppers fairly.

Vendor warrenty and return policy will always be available on the product screen.

You can cancel your order within 24 hours and receive an immediate refund from us. This is because we still sit with the money on our side.

If you would like to cancel after that, you will have to arrange with the Vendor Directly. If you want to change your order. You will also have to arrange with the Vendor directly.

VENDORS: HOW IT WORKS​

You can select from 3 different vendor models, starting at R79,00 per month. This covers the administration fees and the advertising of your products.

From there you pay 10% commission on sales value. Out of this we pay 3.7% to the payment solution providers and 0.3% on banking costs to make sure that we can get your money to you.

Customers are free to shop the marketplace. We treat all vendors equaly. If they search for your product they will find it on our shop – and even on Google.

However – if you run discounts/promoitions on your products, we will feature it on our homepage.

Depending on which bank you are – Anything between 2-5 working days. 

Follow the “Vendor Signup” link in the menu.

From there you will be presented with your very own Vendor Dashboard where you will be able to customise your store, view your orders and manage your products.

Once you have signed up as a vendor, you will be able to upload your products from your Vendor Dashboard.

Simple. We will not be marketing your product if you are not on our platform and we will not be handing out vouchers and coupons for people to go spend money on your website 😉
